Mohammad Mostafavi, MD is a proud Double Jumbo, having attended Tufts University in Boston, MA for both his undergraduate and medical education. He completed his surgical internship and residency in urology at the University of California, San Diego Medical Center, before returning to Massachusetts to complete a fellowship in endourology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Mostafavi is an active member of the American Urological Association as well as a Fellow of the Endourological Society. He has spent the last 20+ years practicing urology in Western Massachusetts, where he fondly calls home. 

 

Dr. Mostafavi first became interested in the field of functional medicine over 20 years ago while seeking care for his now adult son with autism spectrum disorder. Driven by the impacts of his own experiences, Dr. Mostafavi began his own training and practice of functional medicine. Dr. Mostafavi is an active member of the Institute for Functional Medicine. He has worked to incorporate his training in both urology and functional medicine to provide patient-centered care with a particular focus in a holistic approach to health.
